Ametrine is a powerful combination of Amethyst and Citrine, connecting physical and spiritual realms.
The Amethyst in Ametrine assists one to experience Divine Guidance, while the Citrine aspect in this crystal assimilates this guidance into one's life.
Ametrine melts away stress and tension. It balances and calms emotions and helps ease depression. Ametrine allows us to accept others's differences. The color of the zones visible within ametrine is due to differing oxidation states of iron within the crystal. The citrine segments have oxidized iron while the amethyst segments are unoxidized. The different oxidation states occur due to there being a temperature gradient across the crystal during its formation.
